Excuse my absence and NaNoWriMo!

Sorry for my lack of postings over the last month. October was not a good month for me. I let myself slip into a State of self-pity and it's hard to be motivated to do much of anything to feel bad for myself and my perception of life. But, life is too short, and that it is time to stop wasting time and go back to what I want to do, which is a record.

With this in mind, national novel writing month, or NaNoWriMo for short began at midnight this morning. For those who don't know what it is mostly the competition itself to write at least 50000 words within 30 days. This is not a novel but rather make you a long way down this road. This non-profit organization supports those who want to write as well as delighting the writing of our youth. You can read more about them here. This is indeed a worthy organization and are always in need of donations to support their causes.

I participated in NaNoWriMo in 2011, but did not meet my goal of about 12000 words. Last year I did not participate, for a variety of reasons; A new job, a change in life situation, severe depression, and the list goes on. But not this year. I use it as a kick in my butt to start backup and intend to post here what I write for all to enjoy (or become nauseated). I will appreciate any comments or constructive criticism of my work. If you are just nasty comments will be deleted. After all this is my blog, and you are a guest.

So stay tuned and let's see what twisted or mad ideas come from my perverted mind. It may be fun to ride. One word of warning, as my writing for novels will hardly be edited. This means there will be many grammatical, spelling and continuity errors, to name a few. There you have been warned.
